What is the idea behind your team?
Willow redefines mental well-being by addressing the core challenges of fear, anxiety, and stress in intimidating situations. Our mission is simple: eliminate pre-experience jitters associated with daunting scenarios like dentist visits or critical presentations.
We realized today’s challenge: a demanding & stressful lifestyle. In today’s fast-paced world, countless individuals struggle to balance work, health, and personal life effectively. High-stress levels, burnout, and deteriorating well-being are widespread, impacting daily productivity and overall happiness. Therefore, we want to elevate mental well-being awareness and make it easily accessible to all, because we believe everyone deserves a sound and robust well-being.
Tell us about your team members!
We’re a team of 4, consisting of a project manager, data analyst, developer and a UX specialist.
Sarah Miselly (Co-Founder): Project Management and Education Specialist
Bringing a wealth of experience in project management and education. Her expertise ensures seamless coordination, efficient execution, and a keen focus on educational initiatives. With a proven track record, Sarah is adept at steering projects toward success.
Finy Mercialie Linjaya (Co-Founder): Versatile Data Analyst
Finy, our data analyst extraordinaire, boasts an impressive background in various industries, including health, banking, and mining. Her analytical prowess and versatility equip the team with valuable insights, making her an invaluable contributor to data-driven decision-making processes.
Yen Tran: Innovative Developer in IT Mobile
Yen stands at the forefront of innovation as a skilled developer in an IT mobile company. Her expertise in mobile technology brings a cutting-edge dimension to our team. With a commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements, Yen ensures our projects are technologically sound and user-friendly.
Tara Adhialita: (UX) Game Developer in the Making
Tara, our User Experience (UX) specialist, is currently immersed in the world of game development at South Eastern Finland University. Her dedication to understanding user needs and creating engaging experiences contributes a unique perspective to our team. Tara’s skills are poised to elevate the user interface and overall user experience of our projects.
What project(s) are you currently working on?
Aside from ecotherapy, we join forces with AR.VO.
Why did you decide to join Helsinki XR Center’s XR developer hub?
It helps us boost our network access and also gather with like-minded people who support and encourage each other.
When did you join the XR Hub, and how long had your team existed before joining?
We just joined a few months ago. We started our project last September, 2023.
As a part of the XR Hub, how has your experience been so far?
So far, we have experienced nothing but very good experiences and looking forward to see what XR has in store for hub teams, regarding community events or learnings sessions in general.
What is the most interesting or exciting thing about extended reality?
