What is the idea behind your team?
We are a hardworking team from various backgrounds, currently putting in effort for our startup – Trialroom. Our goal is to help e-commerce businesses boost their sales using Virtual Try-On. This awesome tech not only cuts down on product returns but also supercharges sales by three times or more.

We’re a team of eight members:
Towhidul Islam: Founder & CEO
Towhidul Islam, CEO of Trialroom and European Business student, is an experienced Operations Manager with a background in startup and E-commerce. He addresses online purchase dissatisfaction through Trialroom, showcasing proactive problem-solving and a dedication to innovation. Additionally, he is a self-taught full-stack web developer with a track record of contributing to startup projects
Md. Samiur Rahman: Co-founder & CFO
Samiur Rahman is a highly skilled finance professional with a strong educational background, including an MBA in Finance and a Masters of Development Studies. He has been working in finance since 2007, managing relationships with corporate clients, marketing financial products, and excelling in project appraisal and credit risk management. Samiur is experienced in structured finance, assisting SMEs with expansion financing and contributing to projects focused on sustainable development and carbon emission reduction. He has successfully handled a loan portfolio of around USD 30 million, showcasing his expertise in client relationship building, project evaluation, and credit risk management.
Syed Tanzilul Huq: Co-founder & CBDO
Syed Tanzilul Huq has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Rajshahi. With 24 years of experience in the ready-made garments industry, he’s skilled in areas like sewing, fabric, and sizing. He’s held managerial roles in various companies, including his last job at the Swedish company Hoplon Group. His expertise makes him a valuable addition to any organization in the garment sector.
Marufa Mujib: Software Developer
With over 20 years in Software Quality Assurance, she excels in Manual and Automated testing of web applications, spanning the Software Development Life Cycle. Proficient in Selenium WebDriver, Jenkins, JIRA, and Azure DevOps, she contributed to QA processes at Owens & Minor, creating automation frameworks and conducting Rest API and Web Service Testing. Holds an MSc in Advanced Engineering Materials and a BSc in Metallurgical Engineering.
Khandoker Samsad Hassan:
Khandoker Samsad Hassan, a Khulna University graduate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, excels in Machine Learning and 3D development. With experience in startups, he adeptly uses machine learning for data analysis. Known for adaptability and critical thinking, Khandoker is a versatile professional always eager to learn.
Mohammed Assaduzzaman: Ai Developer & Product Manager
Mohammed Assaduzzaman is a highly qualified professional with a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering and a master’s degree in data science from the UK. He successfully contributed to projects at Lyca Mobile and served as a Solutions Manager at Nokia for various AI projects. Mohammed’s expertise lies in combining computer science and data science, making him an asset for any organization aiming to leverage advanced technologies and artificial intelligence.
Placid Rodrigues: Full Stack Developer
With 7+ years as a senior software engineer, he excels in both front-end and back-end technologies. Currently at Movio Limited, he designs and builds frontend applications using Vite, React, and more. Past roles include independently developing web applications at Ananta Group and freelancing. A graduate of Hack Reactor’s Advanced Software Engineering Immersive Program in 2017, he is not just a passionate coder but also a husband and father who enjoys travel, music, and movies.
Al Mubin: Growth Hacker
A Marketing Graduate from Independent University Bangladesh, is a dynamic growth hacker known for his innovative strategies that drive rapid expansion. Specializing in data-driven techniques like viral marketing and SEO optimization, he has a proven track record of propelling companies to new heights. Since joining Trialroom in January 2024, he has spearheaded growth initiatives that accelerate user acquisition and revenue growth, establishing Trialroom as a market leader. His strategic vision and hands-on approach make him invaluable in navigating today’s competitive landscape.
What project(s) are you currently working on?
We are working on an AR-based Virtual Try-On, which we refer to as “Trialroom” for the E-commerce industry.
Why did you decide to join Helsinki XR Center’s XR developer hub?
We found that the XR Centre is the epicenter for XR talents. In the XR Centre, we can connect with the most talented individuals in the XR field from across the world. Additionally, we have access to the world’s most upgraded XR devices.
When did you join the XR Hub, and how long had your team existed before joining?
After forming our founding team in November 2023, we joined Hub in January 2024.
As a part of the XR Hub, how has your experience been so far?
We had a positive experience engaging with talented individuals, participating in networking events, and acquiring valuable information regarding potential investors.
What is the most interesting or exciting thing about extended reality?
It opens up many chances to start new businesses and makes things easier for customers.
