Moving towards new platforms – are DAO:s the future of this emerging era?
What is the open metaverse, crypto economy, or any other Web 3.0 buzzwords? What do they all mean for content creators, artists, developers, influencers, entrepreneurs, or students?
How do DAO:s (Decentralized Automated Organizations) come into account in all of this, what are they? Could DAO:s provide a community based model for work, rather than just for profit with a more socially-conscious structure? What does this mean not only for existing businesses, but also in terms of how we address the causes that are important for us today and as a society.
Join us for the Creative Tech Afterwork, to learn and discuss of these future topics! A monthly held event at Helsinki XR Center in collaboration with MetES – Metropolia Entrepreneurship society & Turbiini Campus Incubator, we will help YOU, to navigate in the realm of Web 3.0.
The topic of the first afterwork will indeed be DAO:s – member-owned communities without centralized leadership in the digital sphere. We will explore the works of DAO:s and if they can actually provide community-based models for work, in the upcoming future. During the event snacks and refreshments will be provided.
