Calling all students! We are looking for creative ideas to help us to shape the identity of The Immersive Sustainability Lab!
The Immersive Sustainability Lab is a pioneering initiative by the Helsinki XR Center, supported by the Virtual World Society. It operates within an ecosystem of cities, emerging technologies, and sustainability-focused organizations, and serves as an exhibition and development space for the latest technological innovations.
Your Challenge
We invite students to design a modern, versatile, and impactful logo that embodies the Lab’s core themes:
- Sustainability – Environmental, Social, Cultural, and Economic
- Envisioning Sustainable Futures
- Emerging Technologies, including Extended Reality (XR)
- Urban Living and Livable Cities
Competiton Details
- Who can participate? Open to all students.
- Prize: 350 € for the winning design!
- Deadline: Submit your entry by Sunday, 13.4. at 23:59
- Winner announcement: The winner will be announced at the end of April.
Submission Guidelines
- Format: Submit your logo in vector format (.AI, .SVG, or .EPS), Submissions should include one A4 concept sheet; summarizing the idea behind the design, and at least one mockup of the logo in use (e.g mockup web page, business card, poster, rendered in the physical space, etc. Be creative!).
- Concept description: Include a short explanation of your design idea.

The winning designer will grant The Immersive Sustainability Lab the rights to use and adapt the logo as needed
