IKKIO is an AI assistant designed for smart glasses to help the blind and visually impaired community. IKKIO aims to bridge the accessibility gap by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision, machine learning, and wearable technology. Meet the team

Our team consists of pioneers and builders reimaginging accessibility:

Iara Dias, the Founder and CEO, is an innovative professional with 20 years of experience across finance, business, project management, and cutting-edge technology like VR and AR, known for her pioneering work as Head of Metaverse Music Festival in Decentraland.

Amir K.C, the CTO and Co-founder, is a Senior Software Engineer with over a decade of experience from companies like Ericsson, specializing in cloud-native IoT platforms, AI and secure system design essential for wearable tech.

Aleksei Sytnikov, the CPO and Co-founder, is a Full Stack Developer with a strong background in product management, holding a PhD in Informatics and Computer Science and co-founding a previous SaaS company.

And finally, Azra Tayyebi, the Accessibility Specialist and Developer, is a crucial team member who has been blind since age 8, bringing firsthand experience as a computer scientist specializing in web accessibility and ensuring the product is developed with the blind community.
